About the event
Taught by Pete Williams the studios director and printmaker who is known for his very large woodcut & carvings exhibited widely across Wales and the UK. This is probably one of the most simplest and direct methods of printmaking open to all levels and skills. In this workshop you will learn about drawing directly on your chosen surface, MDF, ply board or any relief surface you want to bring along. A wide range of cutting tools are available and techniques on printing using the press and by hand will be covered and basic papers and ink also supplied. This workshop is open to all and offers an opportunity to work toward a number of possible outcomes. All basic materials such as ink and proofing paper are included. Specialist paper and a range of inks and plates are available to purchase at the studio. Saturday workshop runs from 10 am to 4pm.
